Umbrella Network Announces Partnership with Unmarshal

Unmarshal, a reverse oracle that moves an increasing proportion of Web3 data to the Web2 domain, has made public collaboration with Umbrella Network.

TL;DR

● Umbrella Network and Unmarshal have made public a collaboration to achieve their common aim of creating a completely decentralized network for the Web3 domain.

● The Unmarshal token’s pricing data — MARSH/USD — will be listed as Layer-2 data to our decentralized oracle as part of this cooperation.

● In the coming future, the two partners shall assess various ways of partnership.

Unmarshal and Umbrella Network have established a cooperation to work toward their common aim of increasing the Web3 sector. Unmarshal is a reverse oracle that brings Web3 data to Web2, while Umbrella Network is a decentralized oracle that brings Web2 data to Web3.

The publication of Unmarshal’s MARSH/USD pricing data, which is already live as Layer-2 data on Umbrella Network’s decentralized oracle, is the first step in achieving their stated goal.

Web2 developers can query Web3 data from several Blockchains using Unmarshal’s MARSH token, which can be used as a price repository, tax engine, and more. Web3’s constantly expanding data points, as well as the ultimate migration of Web2 to Web3, will necessitate swift and failsafe data bidirectional ramps.

Unmarshal makes Web3 data available in the Web2 ecosystem, whereas Umbrella Network does the converse.

Umbrella Network is paving the road for seamless bidirectional querying and consumption of data from the Web3 ecosystem to Web2 environments and vice versa by integrating the MARSH/USD price data as Layer-2 data.

The resulting consequences would benefit not only Unmarshal and Umbrella Network’s partners and clients, but also the larger Web2 and Web3 app ecosystem.

For example, when computing crypto-taxes, a tax-calculating app, which has traditionally been a Web2 player, is hampered by challenges and must rely on self-reported estimations that are just that — guesses. This isn’t always due to the assessee’s bad intentions or malice, but it’s usually the result of a mix of factors.

“We are excited to cooperate with Umbrella network as we start creating our decentralized network,” stated Manohara Kolagondanahalli, Founder and CEO of Unmarshal.

We came together naturally since we had a common aim of offering real and granular data to dApps. We’re also thrilled to announce that UMB’s oracles will support the MARSH price feed natively on Ethereum and BSC.”

Unmarshal’s Background

Unmarshal is a multi-chain DeFi data network that aims to provide dApps with granular, trustworthy, and real-time data. It makes it simple to query Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polkadot, Near, and Solana Blockchain data. To enable DeFi applications on any chain, the Unmarshal network comprises of data indexers and transformation tools.

Umbrella Network Information

Umbrella Network is a community-owned, scalable, decentralized oracle that uses Layer 2 technology to incorporate real-time data into smart contracts for accurate and fast reporting. The Umbrella Network connects the world’s data to blockchains, allowing DeFi apps to perform at their best in terms of precise data transmission. It thinks that the creation of a truly decentralized financial environment requires a decentralized oracle.
